| This lightweight water-shedding Cordura-type nylon carrying case is made specifically for carrying and displaying the loose charts of the unlaminated Tirion Field or Desk Atlases only. It keeps the individual charts from blowing off your observing table during use and protects them from dew and coffee cups rings. It also keeps the charts together in one convenient file and protects them from accidents when not in use. The carrier has soft woven cloth carrying handles, a Velcro flap to hold it closed during transit, and an outside zippered accessory storage pocket. The carrier opens up flat to reveal two unfolded charts that are protected from the evening dews and damps behind clear flexible vinyl windows. The carrier can hold an entire set of 26 Tirion charts, displaying only those two charts most useful for the evening’s observing. Openings at the top of the windows allow you to change charts at will to bring new ones to the fore as the night progresses.
