Good quality low to medium power three-element eyepiece that was the standard equipment eyepiece with Meade telescopes for many years. It is still one of the standard equipment eyepieces supplied with many mid-priced Meade scopes. It is an upgraded version of the Kellner achromatic eyepiece and is a good step up from the lesser-quality two-element H (Huygenian) and R (Ramsden) eyepieces supplied as standard equipment with many other brands of economy telescopes. It is multicoated for high light transmission and good contrast. Comes in a plastic container for storage. No rubber eyecup, so adding an optional eyecup #CPEG might be useful. The eyepiece will not fit back into the plastic case with the slip-on rubber eyeguard installed.
