If you’re looking for a little bigger view of the earth and sky with your Explorascope, this eyepiece will give you the views you’re looking for. It threads onto the Explorascope’s focuser drawtube, but has a standard 1.25” barrel that allows it to be used with any telescope that uses 1.25” accessories.

Celestron does not specify the optical design of the eyepiece, but we suspect it is a three-element Kellner, based on its field of view and image characteristics. Eye relief is quite short, so it is not recommended for those who must wear eyeglasses while observing.
